The ruling concerning borrowing (money)
for An-Naşîka

Is it religiously permissible to borrow (money) for the An-Naşîka(1)? And may Allah reward you.

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon whom Allah sent as a mercy to the Worlds, upon his Family, his Companions and his Brothers till the Day of Resurrection:

The matter depends on whether the father (of the baby) is able to pay back the debt first. So, if he is able to pay back the debt, then it is recommended that he borrows (money) for Al-‘Aqîqa (2), because redeems the bond of the baby and it is of an extreme benefit for him including invoking Allah for him. Likewise, he benefits from being present at the rites [of pilgrimage] and assuming Ihrâm (3) instead of him, and suchlike benefits that were fully detailed by Shaykh Al-Islâm Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله تعالى in “Tuhfat Al-Mawdûd (4).

The perfect knowledge belongs to Allah عزَّ وجلَّ. Our last prayer is all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon our Prophet, his Family, his Companions and Brothers till the Day of Resurrection.
