The ruling regarding covering
the lower part of a woman's chin

Question :
What is the ruling concerning covering the chin as regards the woman?  

Answer:
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon whom Allah sent as a mercy to the Worlds, upon his Family, his Companions and his Brothers till the Day of Resurrection:

The chin which nears the neck and is close to it must be covered as it is a part of the neck, since “anything that comes close to something gets into its ruling” and “anything without which an obligation cannot be fulfilled, is an obligation”.

So, if the neck cannot be covered without including a part of the chin, this part gets into the ruling concerning the neck.

The perfect knowledge belongs to Allah عزَّ وجلَّ. Our last prayer is all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon our Prophet, his Family, his Companions and Brothers till the Day of Resurrection.
